The Training Academy is designed for those who want to join the team but don’t yet have the technical skills to join a department directly.
We’ve been running it since 2020, refining it edition after edition, and we’re proud of the training value it has built over time.
Over the course of the year, the students who take part in the Training Academy split into groups with an ambitious goal: designing, building, and launching a “medium power” model rocket. The program is structured around practical and theoretical lessons led by Department Heads and the team’s most experienced members, who guide participants step by step as they turn their ideas into a working prototype.
The format also includes a challenge: the groups compete against each other, each with its own rocket, putting what they’ve learned throughout the year to the test. Once completed and validated, each rocket is launched during the launch campaign, the annual event that celebrates the team’s work and symbolically closes out the program.
Meetings are held every Saturday morning at our San Pietro in Vincoli location.
