The MINERVA project represents the first high-power rocket of the Sapienza Rocket Team, designed specifically for participation in international competitions. MINERVA was designed to reach an apogee of 3000 meters and is equipped with an advanced aerobrake system, controlled by a passive control system. The rocket uses a COTS commercial solid-propellant engine. The first flight of MINERVA, which took place in August 2024, was a complete success, with theProper activation of all subsystems and recovery of the rocket in excellent condition.
