Attraverso rigorose analisi teoriche, avanzate simulazioni di fluidodinamica computazionale (CFD) e test in galleria del vento, ottimizziamo meticolosamente il design aerodinamico per migliorarne l&#8217;efficienza e la stabilit\u00e0. Attraverso l\u2019utilizzo di software di simulazione numerica all&#8217;avanguardia e di codici MATLAB sviluppati interamente dal nostro Dipartimento, siamo in grado di convalidare rigorosamente i design dei nostri razzi-sonda, garantendo prestazioni ottimali confrontando attentamente i modelli teorici con i dati reali di lancio. Il Dipartimento di Aerodinamica rappresenta uno dei pilastri fondamentali del Team, promuovendo una profonda collaborazione con tutti gli altri dipartimenti, tra cui Mission Analysis, Structures e (CFD) gioca un ruolo essenziale nella progettazione ed analisi dei nostri razzi. Il nostro Dipartimento si occupa dello sviluppo di simulazioni numeriche basato su diverse fasi chiave:<\/p><ul><li>Definizione della Geometria: creiamo un modello digitale del razzo e dei suoi componenti.<\/li><li>Generazione della Mesh: suddividiamo la geometria in piccoli elementi per risolvere le equazioni che regolano il flusso dei fluidi.<\/li><li>Configurazione del Risolutore: selezioniamo modelli matematici e algoritmi appropriati per simulare il flusso dei fluidi, la combustione e il trasferimento di calore all&#8217;interno del razzo.<\/li><li>Post-elaborazione: analizziamo i risultati della simulazione per interpretare il comportamento dei fluidi, la distribuzione della temperatura, le variazioni di pressione e altro.<\/li><\/ul><p>Le analisi CFD sono essenziali per ottimizzare i progetti dei razzi, prevedendo forze aerodinamiche e valutando stress termici e meccanici. La comprensione dei flussi fluidi guida la progettazione per ridurre la resistenza e migliorare le prestazioni. Le simulazioni CFD agevolano iterazioni efficienti, accelerando l&#8217;innovazione e migliorando l&#8217;efficienza nei nostri progetti grazie a dettagli cruciali sul comportamento del modello del della forma aerodinamica (Aerodynamic Shape Optimization &#8211; ASO) impiega tecniche avanzate di ottimizzazione per perfezionare il design esterno del razzo, considerando vari vincoli geometrici da noi imposti. Ad esempio, consente di minimizzare la resistenza aerodinamica o massimizzare la stabilit\u00e0 al variare dell&#8217;assetto del razzo-sonda mediante modifiche nella forma e dimensione degli elementi aerodinamici. La rilevanza dell&#8217;ASO durante la fase di design risiede nella sua capacit\u00e0 di ottimizzare con precisione la geometria del razzo per raggiungere le prestazioni aerodinamiche ottimali da noi ricercate.
