Il tricottero \u00e8 la soluzione minima che lo permette, e i suoi vantaggi \u2014 minor peso, maggiore agilit\u00e0, migliore endurance \u2014 sono premiati dalla competizione.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Ma un conto \u00e8 scegliere una configurazione. Un conto \u00e8 renderla matura.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Rispetto a Stingray, abbiamo lavorato dove serviva davvero:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"\">Transizione pi\u00f9 fluida<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">\u00a0\u2192 Abbiamo simulato centinaia di ore in ambiente SITL e HIL, utilizzando\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"\">X\u2011Plane<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">\u00a0come piattaforma di simulazione e il\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"\">gemello digitale<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\"> del velivolo per tarare la logica di passaggio da multirotore a volo orizzontale, riducendo la perdita di quota.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"\">Baricentro pi\u00f9 stabile<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\"> \u2192 Il serbatoio \u00e8 posizionato il pi\u00f9 vicino possibile al baricentro, e le pareti anti-sloshing smorzano i movimenti della massa liquida durante il volo e lo sgancio, garantendo che il centro di massa rimanga stabile per tutta la missione.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Il tricottero non \u00e8 una novit\u00e0 per noi. Il suo gemello digitale \u00e8 stato costruito in\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"\">X\u2011Plane<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\"> e ha accumulato decine di ore di simulazione prima che il velivolo reale vedesse la luce.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Il punto di partenza \u00e8 stato riprodurre fedelmente i profili alari utilizzati sul velivolo reale, ricostruendone le curve aerodinamiche. <\/span><span class=\"\">L&#8217;intero velivolo \u00e8 stato modellato in\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"\">Plane Maker<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">, includendo non solo le superfici portanti, ma anche\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">fusoliera, trave di coda e componenti non portanti<\/span><span class=\"\">, per garantire che la simulazione tenesse conto degli effetti di resistenza e stabilit\u00e0 reale.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Sono stati condotti\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">numerosi test di volo in simulazione<\/span><span class=\"\">, di cui tre\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">ufficiali monitorati con<\/span><strong><span class=\"\"> TacView<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">, strumento che ha permesso di analizzare traiettorie, velocit\u00e0 e assetti in dettaglio, validando le transizioni e il comportamento in scenari limite\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Le simulazioni hanno contribuito a valutare:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"\">Risposta del velivolo a vento di 25 nodi e raffiche,\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">come richiesto dalla competizione.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"\">Posizione del baricentro,\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">modificata a seguito di alcuni feedback del class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">Efficienza dal design<\/h2><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">Spyke nasce con un&#8217;ossessione per l&#8217;efficienza. Ogni scelta aerodinamica \u2014 dai profili alla distribuzione della portanza \u2014 \u00e8 stata guidata da un obiettivo preciso: volare il pi\u00f9 a lungo possibile, al punto di massima efficienza, senza compromessi sulla sicurezza.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">L&#8217;ala esterna combina due profili complementari: il MH114 alla radice, scelto perch\u00e9 raggiunge la sua massima efficienza esattamente all&#8217;angolo di attacco di crociera, e il GOE358 al tip, capace di mantenere ottime prestazioni al variare del numero di Reynolds lungo l&#8217;apertura. Il twist di \u22121,5\u00b0 non \u00e8 un dettaglio secondario: \u00e8 la garanzia che in caso di stallo, questo parta dalla radice e non dal tip. Gli alettoni, posizionati all&#8217;estremit\u00e0 alare, continuano cos\u00ec a rispondere ai comandi fino all&#8217;ultimo momento \u2014 lasciando al pilota la possibilit\u00e0 di correggere prima che la situazione diventi criticaLa sezione interna segue la stessa logica, con una progressione di profili \u2014 SE1223, GOE225, MH114 \u2014 studiata per massimizzare la portanza dove la corda \u00e8 pi\u00f9 grande, con una transizione fluida verso l&#8217;esterno. Il risultato \u00e8 una portanza complessiva stimata in oltre 94 N a 16 m\/s, ottenuta con stime deliberatamente conservative.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">A chiudere il quadro, lo stabilatore a pianta ellittica con profilo HT22: una scelta che minimizza la resistenza indotta e garantisce il controllo longitudinale con ampi margini. In fase di decollo e atterraggio, entra in gioco una delle innovazioni pi\u00f9 interessanti di quest&#8217;anno: lo slotted flap, progettato e ottimizzato internamente con simulazioni CFD dedicate.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">Il profilo di riferimento scelto per lo studio \u00e8 il GOE225, il pi\u00f9 influente sull&#8217;intera estensione laterale portante. Sono state analizzate diverse configurazioni di gap tra il profilo principale e il flap, cercando il punto di equilibrio perfetto tra efficienza aerodinamica e fattibilit\u00e0 costruttiva del meccanismo. Tutte le simulazioni 2D sono state condotte con un angolo di attacco di 12\u00b0 e una deflessione del flap di 30\u00b0, adottando un modello turbolento viscoso k-omega.<\/p><p di Spyke nasce da una scelta precisa. La struttura esterna \u00e8 interamente realizzata in <strong>fibra di carbonio composita<\/strong>, laminata in-house con tecnica a sacco sotto vuoto \u2014 un processo che il team padroneggia dall&#8217;inizio alla fine, dalla preparazione degli stampi in PLA alla rifinitura finale. Dove le analisi hanno evidenziato concentrazioni di tensione critiche \u2014 in particolare nelle zone di contatto tra i tubi in carbonio e le centine dell&#8217;ala, e in alcune ordinate della fusoliera \u2014 la struttura \u00e8 stata irrigidita localmente con patch in fibra di carbonio orientate a 45<strong>\u00b0<\/strong>. La scelta dell&#8217;orientamento non \u00e8 casuale: le tensioni di taglio, che sono quelle pi\u00f9 pericolose in quelle zone, agiscono esattamente a 45\u00b0 rispetto agli assi principali. Orientare le fibre in quella direzione massimizza la resistenza esattamente dove serve.<br \/>L&#8217;interno \u00e8 invece un sistema ibrido di <strong>balsa e compensato<\/strong>, tagliati al laser per garantire precisione millimetrica nell&#8217;accoppiamento tra i componenti. La stabilit\u00e0 della pelle \u00e8 stata verificata con la teoria classica del buckling per <strong>piastre ortotrope<\/strong>, implementata in un codice MATLAB dedicato che ottimizza automaticamente lo spessore del laminato e la spaziatura delle centine. Il risultato: 3 strati di fibra di carbonio per l&#8217;ala interna, 2 per quella esterna, con centine pi\u00f9 fitte in prossimit\u00e0 dei supporti motore dove l&#8217;altezza dei longheroni si riduce.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">La validazione finale \u00e8 stata condotta con un&#8217;analisi FEM sull&#8217;intero velivolo, utilizzando in parallelo <strong>HyperMesh<\/strong> e <strong>ANSA<\/strong> come strumenti di pre e post-processing, con <strong>OptiStruct<\/strong> come solutore \u2014 una doppia analisi con due software distinti per confrontare i risultati e ottenere una verifica indipendente. Sono state eseguite tre tipologie di analisi: <strong>statica<\/strong>, per valutare deformazioni e tensioni sotto i carichi di volo; <strong>modale<\/strong>, per identificare le frequenze proprie del velivolo e validare il modello; <strong>buckling<\/strong>, per verificare che l&#8217;instabilit\u00e0 strutturale non si manifestasse prima del fattore di carico di progetto pari a 5. L&#8217;approccio \u00e8 stato multi-fidelity: prima con distribuzione di portanza ellittica, poi con le distribuzioni di pressione esportate direttamente dal CFD. I supporti motore sono stati analizzati separatamente con un modello 2D ortotropo in <strong>MSC Nastran<\/strong>.
